INDIACom History

Throughout the world, nations have accepted that ICT is now acting as a catalyst in speeding up the economic activity in efficient governance, citizens’ empowerment and in improving the quality of human life. Since its inception in the year 2007, INDIACom has attracted eminent academicians, scientists, researchers, industrialists, technocrats, government representatives, social visionaries and experts from all strata of society to explore new horizons of innovations to identify opportunities and define the path forward. This new path is aimed at eliminating isolation, discourage redundant efforts and promote scientific progress to accelerate nations’ economic growth to prominence on the international arena and to contribute effectively to realize the nations’ vision of sustainable inclusive development using computing.

INDIACom, through its last twenty editions (from INDIACom-2007 to INDIACom-2026), has created its lasting impact in academic and research communities. A brief of last few editions are given below.

20^th edition of INDIACom i.e. INDIACom-2026 was scheduled during 08^th – 10^th April, 2026. The theme of the conference was “Computing for Sustainable Global Development”, which has a unique intellectual and ethical mandate to make new and innovative technologies work for social, cultural and economic growth. The conference was technical sponsored by IEEE Delhi Section and supported by CSI, IETE, ISTE, IITP, IMP. INDIACom-2026 received over 2,800 papers, authored by more than 8000 authors from 26 countries. Over 800 Senior experts, researchers, practitioners, and delegates from 26 countries like USA, Australia, Malaysia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Serbia, Romania, UK, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Bangladesh, Ghana, Japan, Oman, UAE, Turkey, Jordan, China, etc., and from all the states of India have participated during the three days of the conference. A total of 2,274 papers were found worth consideration for detailed technical review. After a series of tough review exercises, by a team of over 1200 experts, 550 papers, authored by more than 1700 authors from different parts of the country and abroad, have been accepted for presentation in INDIACom – 2026 during the three days under different parallel tracks. All the presented papers were published in IEEE Xplore, the world’s largest repository, in Computer Science, for publication and indexing, which is abstracted and indexed at world’s premiere databases like Web of Science for SCI family, SCOPUS, DBLP, INSPEC, etc.

19^th edition of INDIACom i.e. INDIACom-2025 was scheduled during 02^nd – 04^th April, 2025. The theme of the conference was “Computing for Sustainable Global Development”. INDIACom-2025 received over 1700 papers, authored by more than 5000 authors from 23 countries. Over 600 Senior experts, researchers, practitioners, and delegates from 23 countries like USA, Australia, Malaysia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Serbia, Romania, UK, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Bangladesh, Ghana, Japan, Oman, UAE, Turkey, Jordan, China, etc., and from all the states of India have participated during the three days of the conference. After a series of tough review exercises, by a team of over 900 experts, 415 papers, authored by more than 1200 authors from different parts of the country and abroad, have been accepted for presentation in INDIACom-2025 during the three days under different parallel tracks. All the presented papers were published in IEEE Xplore, the world’s largest repository, in Computer Science, for publication and indexing, which is abstracted and indexed at world’s premiere databases like Web of Science for SCI family, SCOPUS, DBLP, INSPEC, etc.

18^th edition of INDIACom i.e. INDIACom-2024 was scheduled during 28^th February – 01^st March, 2024. The theme of the conference was “Computing for Sustainable Global Development”. INDIACom-2024 received over 1300 papers, authored by more than 3500 authors from 19 countries. Over 600 Senior experts, researchers, practitioners, and delegates from 19 countries like USA, Australia, Malaysia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Serbia, Romania, UK, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Bangladesh, Ghana, Japan, Oman, UAE, Turkey, Jordan, China, etc., and from all the states of India have participated during the three days of the conference. After a series of tough review exercises, by a team of over 600 experts, 314 papers, authored by more than 800 authors from different parts of the country and abroad, have been accepted for presentation in INDIACom-2024 during the three days under different parallel tracks.
